This is on 15 cruises covering 30 years using multiple cruise lines.
Best part: The itinerary was wonderful Left and returned to USA. Liked their Labadee stop in Haiti. Liked the days at sea. Love the A,B,C, island. Liked that we gained an hour of sleep on the last night.
Maintenance: Refurbished in 2014. Badly in need again. The seats in the theatre are terrible worn and the broken ones are just left with parts on the floor. The faucets, sinks and shower were pitted. Karaoke machine is the original one and didn't work. Felt sorry for the host. There seemed to be constant trouble with the
Entertainment: Below average especially their Navigator of the Seas staff. Comedians and ventriloquist were the best. The Cruise Director is the worst we have encountered. The piano man in the Schooner Lounge was great.
Embarkation: They have got to find a way to make this more friendly.
Food: Every cruise the lines cheapen the food. They now offer mediocre food unless you are willing to pay twice for it. I think by our cruise next year the included food will only include a McDonalds Value Meal. Everything else will cost $20-$50 more after already paying for the meal included in the fee.
Staff: When we first started cruising the wait staff knew after the first meal that we liked ice water with lemon, coffee after the meal and provided that. . They don't seem to have the same sense of service anymore. It's not just this ship.
I believe that with the reduction in services and additional cost of everything they are losing ground to the competition at the all-inclusive resorts.
It was OK. The bathroom needed refurbishing. Out Cabin Steward, Conrad, was very good.
