This was our first time cruising as a husband and wife. We had a great time. Staff was always friendly. Embarkation was quick. We were on the boat by noon, in our room by 1 and had our luggage by 1:30. The ports were beautiful and the ship was nothing short of amazing. The service was great in our stateroom. We always had a clean room. The main dining room staff was great too. Never any complaints from us in terms of the service.

The only complaint I did have was regarding the food in terms of quality. Don't expect a good steak unless you want to pay an up charge. My husband ordered the New York strip on the regular menu in the main dining room and it was disgusting. It was white in color and a tough piece of meat. He rarely turns down steak when its in front of him and it was nothing short of not edible. There were a few times our food came out cold from the kitchen which got disappointing after a while. But other than the steak and occasional cold food, everything else was very good.

The entertainment was great. We loved the Schooner bar. We sat in it every night and listened to Matt Ganim play the piano and entertain. Overall, we had a great time and already have another cruise booked with Royal Caribbean for next year!

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D7

Cabin was fine for two people. It was small but expected for what we booked. The cabin itself was in a perfect spot not far from the elevators but far enough so we never heard any noise. Our bed was by the balcony which was nice. We loved being outside, beautiful balcony with no obstructed views. Overall, I would stay in this room again.
