Embarkation:

We boarded the Golden Princess at Pier 91, Port of Seattle.  The entire process was terrible.  There was a line to check baggage, followed by another line to get through security.  While we are Platinum members and had a special check-in line, once we finished there was still another queue to board the ship.  Ship security was slow and inefficient.  The entire process took us over an hour.  Other cruise lines have systems in place to expedite embarkation.  Princess seems to be lacking in this regard.  We experienced the same problem in Sydney when we boarded the Sapphire Princess.

Our cabin (B431) was wonderful.  It was quiet; more than adequate storage, and offered a great view.
