Ship and room: The ship was very nicely decorated and designed. Our biggest issue was the design of the bathroom toilet. But according to other guests we are not the only people to complain about this. My husband couldn't sit on the toilet without hitting the shower doors. He had to use a restroom elsewhere the entire 7 days. Quite a disappointment.
Dining: The other concern was with the size of the main dining room. We made reservations at the restaurants for 4 nights but was planning on going to the dining room for the others. Our first night we tried we were told that we had to wait for 60 minutes. others in the line had indicated they too had to wait over 70 minutes for a seat. We had decided on open seating to be able to come whenever we wanted. Unfortunately, after this first try we never returned. We ate in the lido buffet for 2 nights and the other was hamburgers and pizza.
The restaurants which you had to pay extra for were very good. We went to the caneletto twice, pinnacle twice and the tamarind once. Our favourite was the tamarind.
toilet configuration was awful and so was the shower head.
good tour, van had a flat tire so had to go on another van half way through.
just another way the cruise line can make money. waste of time. would have rather gone to another port.
had a private car, good to see the island and old city. San Juan was very dirty and probably would not return to this island on our own.
great tour, great guides, great island. Lovely people and great jewellery!
