We had heard Viking was very good to cruise with. It met and exceeded our expectations. We have cruised on the Princess, Norwegian, an now the Viking, it far exceeded any of the others. The crew when acting as a guide were far superior to any guides we have ever had. The evening talks on what was the next day served as an excellent spring board for the next day activities. The entertainment at night at the local ports was often far superior to what we had seen on large ships. The intimacy of the small tables and excellent cuisine with outstanding service allowed to make multiple friends each new day. Our steward quickly understood our quirks and habits, making our room even more habitual. We never woke once during the night as the ship moved. We have already purchased a second cruise for our 50th in March 2017 to France because of the outstanding Viking service provided, especially the spacious rooms and now look forward to having another delightful week with Viking.
