We chose this cruise because of the price including the airfare from Chicago. It was a deal we couldn't pass up. We embarked easily, went to the ready balcony cabin, met our steward and began our lovely journey. It was just the husband and myself.

We enjoy the food offerings on Carnival more than Royal Caribbean or Celebrity because they are included in the price except for the Steakhouse and Captain's table. The food is consistently good and the Guy Fieri burgers and fries are addictive. We also like the juevos rancheros at the BlueIguana Cantina in the am. RC and Celebrity cost extra for the better choices.

We listened to music in the bars, played trivia now and then and met lovely fellow passengers. The program directer was excellent and we recommend Malcolm (Whoo Hoo) to all . He was extremely quick witted and very entertaining. He never seemed bored and always made the jokes seem fresh. We also spent some time in the well run Casino. My husband messes with the staff on the craps table but found that they had no problem with payouts no matter the bet. Impressive!

It was fine. We usually prefer lower where we have a clearer view of the sky. An overhang blocked part of the view.
