Our overall experience on the Oasis of the Seas was fantastic! My wife and I cruised with our two boys (9 & almost 11 years old). This was my 5th cruise, and the Oasis of the Seas topped them all. The ship provided so many different options for dining, activities, and spots for finding some "me" time. The shows were also great! The ship also had many activities available for our kids throughout the day. They spent a portion of the time with us and a portion in the ship kid program. The kid area allows for kids to sign themselves in and out of the program if desired, and this was a great option for us. We decided on meeting times beforehand and would rendezvous with them at those set times.

One of the highlights of our experience was dinner. We were not able to get a set dinner time in the main dining room so went with the MyTime dining. This ended up being an amazing option since it made your dinner time more flexible. Even though we did not have a scheduled time and table, we were able to request and get the same table and waiters each night. The dinner staff was amazing and especially amazing with out kids. I would highly recommend eating the main dining hall as a family throughout the cruise if possible. It was great to actually see families actually talking at dinner with little to no electronic devices around!

Port Reviews

Labadee

One of the best POC for the Oasis of the Seas. Beautiful beaches, plenty of places to find shade or sun, and great water for snorkeling. Lunch was provided here and great.

Falmouth

Very commercialized port. If you like to shop the local markets, you will enjoy this place. We are not big shoppers so this port was not our favorite. Would recommend staying in the area protected by the port authority if you don't like the locals bombarding you.

Cozumel

Awesome experience here. We left the area protected by the port authority to check out the local scene. We headed to the left out of the taxi area and found a great restaurant right on the water that had Wi-Fi. While grabbing a couple of drinks, we noticed that all the snorkeling excursion boats were taking scuba divers/snorkelers right to the water area in front of the restaurant. This ended up being a gem! We went and got our snorkeling gear off the boat, came back, and entered the water right in front of the restaurant. They have a nice stairway entry into the water. The snorkeling was awesome right over a small reef. No need to pay for an official trip - just head here! You will know you are at the right place if you see a bunch of scuba tanks and divers at the base of the restaurant.
