Traveled as a Solo with a group. Had solo cabin which was very comfortable. I had more room for my things than if I were sharing a cabin. I loved the changing color lights in the cabin. Shower is a bit tight, it was difficult to bend over. Not much action in the single lounge. There's a daily 5 pm meeting before a 530 pm group dinner. Food was wonderful , especially in O'Sheehans and the Garden Buffet (free). There were other dining options with an up charge, I tried Food Republic (Asian) and Cagney and both were excellent. There are no middle elevators on the ship, only forward and aft. There were a lot of travelers on motorized scooters too. The entertainment was great, the O What a Night (Frankee Vallee tribute) and Black Harlem in the 20s show (I forget the name) were outstanding. The ship felt crowded at times and took some time to learn you way around. Never went on the lounge chairs on the 16th to 19th floors-wall to wall people. As for the stops, I don't know why they bother with Nassau. A huge crowded aggressive marketplace and no so nice beaches like Junkanoo. Tortolas Cane Garden was nice, but crowded (3 ships were in). There are waves. St. Thomas's Coki Beach had clear water, was crowded too, and much smaller with no waves. Overall a good cruise. Debarkation easy when you take your own luggage.
Perfect, but shower is small for a larger person. TV could do with more channels other than ship channels and cable news.
Everybody who has cruised has been to Nassau. Crowded, aggressive marketplace, beaches near port dirty with grassy sand. Lots of people stayed on ship. Why do cruise lines bother with this place? Better to go to a private island if ships must stop near Miami. Is it required because this is the last Diamonds International stop?
