Traveled with children

Cruised with Celebrity and Royal Caribbean before, and heard so many good things about Disney, that we we had high expectations. You don't have that wow feeling when you board or tour the ship. It is very congested on the pool deck. Took one look at the adult pool and it was jam packed, so we didn't use it. Traveled with a 4 year old; two 5 years, and a 7 year old, after one try at the youth pool, decided the kids were not safe, very overcrowded.

There is hardly any adult entertainment except a pub, kind of dingy with few patrons. The duo who were performing there, were good though. A couple of nightclubs, empty most times we checked. Also a couple of duos performing around the ship and a guitar player. We enjoyed the shows, especially Dreams. The pirate party was loud and crazy for young kids.

People wore baseball hats and shorts in the dining rooms. This was not a classic or refined experience. All the kids were great on the ship and well behaved. I suppose entertained if you really like Disney characters but you had to stand on long lines to greet them. Our kids went to the club and seemed to like it.
