we went with an office group where my wife works. the service was beyond compare. smiles and warm greeting from every staff member that you met. the ship was clean and well maintained. the food was awesome! always someone cleaning and / or going above and beyond for the cruise experience. Mike the Cruise Director was great, he never stopped. The ship offered more to do that we were able to get in our schedule. The dining experience was my favorite. we had the best group of waiters (Jon Jon, Adriana, Haruetai, and Keitha). They were almost like family by the time the cruise was over. I miss seeing the crew and very hard to go eat out after such a great experience. (the local restaurants could learn from the Carnival experience). I am looking forward to going on another cruise in the future.

on the negative side of things. the first stop was progresso. we have heard many bad reviews about the place. we choose not to go into town while in port. we did go to the duty free shops the the pier. I was disappointed the way they followed you around and after buying merchandise they would then want you to tip them. (if they had provided a service i could understand tips but not as a store clerk). we talked with many people that did go on the bus trip into town and said they quickly got back on the bus to go back to the boat. I don't understand why the cruise lines choose this port. once again i have talked with many people who have been there and most say its not worth getting off the ship.

The Stop in Cozumel was a much better experience. we went shopping and to Mr Sanchos Beach Club. Had lots of food drinks and good times.
