I always wanted to see the Galapagos and all its wonderful and unique wildlife. Unfortunately, in part by necessity, we acted until retirement to make the trip. The only complaint I had was that I did not do it 20 years earlier because to get the full experience, physical mobility and stamina ware helpful.. That said, this cruise was VERY accommodating to its passengers physical abilities offering several levels of excursions each day to each island. The guides be uber knowledgable and helpful as was the entire staff on board. This was a mature traveling group (surprisingly, no families) all of whom we met were pleasant to be with. The food served on board was very good considering the small size of the ship. We did get to see all the wildlife that makes the Galápagos Islands such a special and unique place to visit. We also added extra days to allow a visit to Quito and see the beauty of this city, including a visit to the equator line.

All in all, if you have any interest in serving these islands, I would highly recommend the Celebrity Xpedition.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite with Veranda

We chose a suite because the cabin sizes on board were generally smaller than on a larger cruise ship. It was comfortable the the (small) veranda was nice to have. Nothing overly exceptional about the room.
