We are experienced cruisers who enjoy being on the ship. This cruise was a quick trip to the Bahamas that was inexpensive. We are able to drive down to Port Canaveral in about three hours so it is convenient.
Our embarkation was delayed by an hour even though we had Faster to the Fun because of stragglers from the previous cruise. Four days later, our departure from the ship was delayed 30 minutes because our group of FTTF was forgotten. Only after we found someone to ask were we told we could disembark. I chalk these mistakes up to new procedures.
But while we were on board, things were much better. Perfect actually.
We had an ocean view stateroom that was large with a sofa. Our steward was Komang who did a great job with the towel animals every night. Large and enough room to move around. Across from a pantry so you occasionally hear crew and the sound of water rushing through pipes can be heard sometimes but neither are enough to be a nuisance.
We did some shopping in the straw market and fought with the barkers. They will always haggle with you!
AGain shopping only. They have changed Freeport and put the corporate shops up front with the local market a short walk away.
We arrived in time to embark which was delayed by stragglers from the previous cruise.
