We found the Viking ship and cabins to be very clean, well designed and comfortable. The ship's crew was wonderful, friendly, and always helpful. Dining was always outstanding with lots of selections, and the food service staff learned our likes and dislikes quickly, and always went out of their way to satisfy our every need. We found excursions to be well planned and very informative. The number of people on board was about perfect, not too crowded, and the other guests were always friendly and made the excursions more enjoyable, we made several new friends. And the practice of handing our water bottles and umbrellas as we disembarked on an excursion is a great idea. Our Cruise Director was fantastic, she provided lots of useful information, and always put a smile on our faces with her stories. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the cruise, it was certainly well worth the investment. We believe a Viking River Cruise is the best way to see Europe. We plan to sign up for another Viking cruise later this year.
