We picked this cruise because of the small ship and itinerary. The last cruise we were on had 4100 passengers and it was just too complicated in every way! The Silver Wind had 279 passengers and almost as many crew. Everything was easy! The crew was fabulous. They catered to our every need! The ship, although not new, was certainly lovely and did not turn us off at all!
The stateroom and head were larger than any other ship we have been on, by far, with lots of storage and room to spread out and relax! We had our favorite potent potables waiting for us along with ice and soft drinks in our frig! The air conditioning in our stateroom was a challenge. It was either blasting or off!
The food was mostly very good and the wine was over flowing! The breakfasts were great! So much crisp bacon! The only real issue in the restaurants was the SALT grinders. They did not work! I know it sounds silly but if you have to ask for help to salt your eggs and they have to try 3 or 4 different grinders before they find one that works, that's annoying!!
Nice drive around the island!
I just walked off the ship and shopped a little! It was fun!
