The ship was great and the service from the carnival staff was exceptional from the wait staff, drink staff to the cabin stewards, (especially Moses and the other bar staff at the Red Frog Rum Bar).
While the twenty four hour pizza was very well liked there was not much of a variety in the buffet, ( 3 Stations serving virtually the same food out of 6 with the pizza bar taking one and the seafood taking another.) Food in the Empire was beautiful and so was the mexican bar.
Carnival is definitely aimed at the young family demographic which they hit the mark with. And families seem to be well catered for,
Small, even with it being an extended balcony the cabin was very small.
Then the shower. As soon as anyone had a shower the bathroom was flooded, the shower curtain did nothing to keep the water in the shower base and the little lip on the base did nothing to keep the water in.
My son hired a stand up paddle board for an hour and had an absolute ball paddling around in the bay
Docking in the container terminal made it hard to do your own thing like exploring the island by yourself or to meet up with people that was prearranged.
Loved the snorkelling up and down the beach.
Excellent spot to just walk around and explore on your own.
