This was our first cruise on Royal Caribbean. The embarkation in San Juan was quick and easy. The ship is beautiful. We enjoyed our room and balcony. Martin was our room steward and he was very attentive. The food on the ship was very good. We had MTD and ate there every night except for the night of the Murder Mystery dinner. We enjoyed breakfast in the dining room and in the Windjammer. I liked the set up in the Windjammer except that the drinks were not easy to get. Ice machine and pop stations seemed hard to find. I did not like that there were not many other options for eating and their hours were limited. Pizza is not as good as on Carnival or Princess. The steak at the Mystery Dinner was excellent!

We did not attend any of the entertainment in the Coral theater except the Marriage game. The time scheduled for these events was not convenient and did not tempt us to change up our plans to attend. Overall, did not care for the scheduling of the entertainment. Hard to fit in anything with dinner.

The biggest problem was the bar service. It was slow and bars were understaffed. Many bars were not open when we would to there to get a drink. The Safari club was a lovey venue but we only saw a bar tender there on the last night.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E3

Our cabin was very nice. Loved the location, very quiet. The bathroom is small. Loved the extra space on the balcony. The mattress is very hard and the pillows were pretty flat. If I were to sail on this ship again I would take this room again. Liked that our muster meeting place was in the Coral theater.
