This was our 8 cruise, second on HAL.. We have been on most of the mainstream cruise line, but did notice that Holland America (Eurodam) is a step or two above the mainstream cruise line. Well done!
We are in our mid 50's and were treated with class.
We met our room steward at around 2pm and introduced himself (Osmon) and said his usual speech. The next morning, Osmon knew our names after one quick introduction and opened our door. That to me was great service. He always spoke to us by name. He and his assistant are truly a huge asset to this company.
Cabin Review
Large Ocean-View Stateroom
Room was fine. Mid ship on deck 2 just down from the excurtion desk. Nice to have a tub. Plenty of storage cupboard for everything. Again great service from Osmon and assistant.
Port Reviews
Grand Turk
Nice stop after a sea day.
Just walked around and shopped.
San Juan
Checked out both forts and road the tram (no charge to ride) then walk the old town.
St. Thomas
took a cab $10 each. Beach was beautiful. Hoped to sea some sea turtles, but sounds like they were at Magan's that day.
Half Moon Cay
Just stayed on there beach. They set up a buffet BBQ which was great. Beautiful island with crystal clear water
