Our second Thompson cruise, and I am very surprised by some of the reviews, this was not a 5star hotel, but we did not pay for a 5 star hotel. Registration was efficient, cabin was very small but we could have paid for a bigger one, meals in the different restaurants were good, not excellent but absolutely fine, staff were excellent , couldn't do enough for you, loved the entertainment, in the main lounge and also various other bars! Did wish for a bigger pool area, saw some lovely places too. I agree with some comments that it was hard to understand many announcements, also chatting to other passengers it was obvious that people had paid vastly different prices for the same thing which was very annoying, particularly for the drinks package.

Overall, this was excellent value for money , so in my opinion, you have to take this into consideration when evaluating the cruise, We would definitely do this again at this price.
