This was our 8th Cruise, 6th on NCL, 1st on Epic and 1st on ship over 2500 capacity. 0ur check-in was very fast, but when we got onboard rooms were not ready and it almost impossible to get elevator, had to drag our carry on bags around for about 2 hours. Elevators were problem entire cruise. We stayed on 11th floor and over 10 elevators passed without stopping .finally walked down to 10th floor to catch one. Ship did not have a promenade, staff admitting this was design flaw. Another negative was you needed reservations to see shows including comedy shows. We were only able to see 1 show and 1 comedy show, everytime we tried they were sold out. We have sailed on Jewel. Pearl, Dawn, and Pride of America all better and much more comfortable than the Epic, The food was not up to par as the other NCL ships. In my opinion the ship was not probably designed to handle over 4000 guests. Disembarking was a nightmare. We self disembarked arriving at deck 7, at 07:30 AM, time we were advised to be there, it took APPROX. 90 minutes to get off ship. Dispite all this we had a great time, but in the future will try to Cruise on a smaller NCL ship such as Jewel, Pearl or Dawn.
We chose a inside cabin as the total cost for both of us was APPROX. $550.00. Based on what we knew about when we booked, only complaint was we did not have a chair only a small stool, we had never been on a NCL ship that did not have at least 1 chair.
Walked around town

Did not go to Great Stirrup Cay,Due to problems . Went to Nassau.Took local tour on shore.
Went from motel to ship
