Celebrity Millennium Review

Ports of call were great, the ship was not; Food was mediocre.

Sail Date: Jan 2017

We chose the cruise based on the ports of calls. We knew the ship was an older ship. What surprised us was the quality of the food in the main dining room, I would compare it to a 2 star restaurant. Main dishes like for example, the leg of lamb was too strigy, full of fat and was difficult to cut, the beef wrapped in phyllo was too fatty and stringy. The steak on the other hand was very good. In the Ocean View Cafe, there were no apples to be seen in the afternnon, but lots available in the late evening. Attention to little details was missing, like small spoons for cereal but large spoons for tea or coffee. Each is not an issue, but a few of these do catch your attention. The service was good, the crew was friendly, public areas were mostly clean. Entertainment was a miss and hit. Of the 16 nights about one third were good, the other ones were either too loud or boring...good to fall asleep by.
