Family Cruise 2017 Selected as other family members wanted to do Royal and it was for 3 family member's birthdays.

To put it mildly my wife and I were very disappointed by Royal in so many ways. We have been on Disney, NCL, Princess, and Carnival a total of 9 times, with this our first on NCL....NEVER AGAIN!

Service was just horrible in the dinning room and the head waiter got involved after 3 nights, which marginally made it better. Worse yet was the food. We were glad to get off the ship to get a good meal. Food was bland and not properly cooked. Wife could not eat her steak two nights. Salmon was always over cooked to well done, rather than medium. I am talking way over cooked not just cooked to get done for germs etc as the waiter claimed. Pasta was bland except one night with ravioli which was good. We ordered more than one meal to try to find something we liked.
