Positives. The ship was in immaculate condition ... clean, well built, modern. That's all.
The nickel and dime approach was horrible ... upgrades for restaurants, upgrades for certain items on all menus, upgrades for entertainment selection and quiet adult pool. There was a $7.50 charge for each and every room service delivery. Morning tea and coffee in our room would normally be a highlight of the cruise ... but not at that price. Part of te joy of the cruise is being treated special.
The entertainment was top notch. Most entertainment had to be booked in advance and some shows required an up-charge.
The cabin was clean, well designed and adequate ... but small. A chair to sit on while writing the daily journal would have been nice. Sitting on the edge of the bed gets tiresome after a long day ashore.
This is the first ship I have been on that did not have two cozy robes waiting for us ... we like being pampered.
We rented a two person kayak to explore a mangrove forest. There was barely any growth around the pond that took a very short time to travel around.
The stop was OK but it was completely created for the tourist. We like to see more of the real country.
No tour ... just from and to the airport.
