We had a great time on the Conquest. The embarkation and debarkation were both a breeze, we are platinum on Carnival so we were able to skip the general lines. We both felt the entertainment was above par, thoroughly enjoyed the shows and the music outside the main show room. Service was also top notch, from cabin steward to dinner staff, everyone was on their game. Dinner food was very good, we had lobster tail on the first formal night (there has been some discussion about Carnival dropping it - only on cruises of 5 days or less). We had brunch in the main dining room on both sea days, this was also very, very good. We participated in some of the trivia contests and visited the casino on occasion. Our meet and greet with the folks on the roll-call was a little under-attended, but we had a great time with our slot pull. Our organizer, Angela, was terrific!
Cabin was comfortable and well maintained. Beds were arranged into one large bed.
Embarkation port, not much to say. We arrived a day early and went to a casino with a free shuttle that picked up at our hotel.
We went on our own and decided to go to an aquarium. Had a surprisingly good time, the staff was very personable and I even fed a sting ray. Recommend it!
Just walked around a little then back to the ship to read by the pool. Been here before.
Just window shopped on the main street off the port and had a few beers purchased in a convenience store (less $). Back to the ship early afternoon for late lunch and headed to the pool. Been here many times before.
