All in all we had a great time and none of the issues ruined our vacation.

Lets start with the issues so we can end on a good note.

I had requested and had been confirmed for anytime dining. Imagine my surprise when I got there and was assigned a table for late dining. As soon as I got on board I was instructed to go to the main dining room to see if it could be changed. I was told "maybe". Two others in our group got theirs changed....I did not. I'll be taking this up with Carnival so won't dwell on it here.

Cabin Review

Aft-View Extended Balcony

Cabin 8N

Very narrow opening. If your a person of size I would reconsider. I'm not a tiny thing but not huge either but was glad neither my suitcases nor I weren't any wider.

Port Reviews

Grand Turk

We enjoyed this port. We went to the conch shell grave yard, found some interesting shells, went to Margaritaville for a very good lunch then walked down to Jacks.....which is NOT right next door to Margaritaville....go to the beach and look down to the right and look for the pier. It's very near there. We love Jack's tho.

We bought some bling then back to the ship.

Very nice and relaxed day.

La Romana (Casa de Campo)

If we had to do it again we would have taken an excursion. Not much to do within walking distance and I can't say that I would feel safe walking by ourselves.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We had no issues getting on or off the ship. Was strange to be assigned a boarding time of 11-11:30 and then find out they don't even start boarding until noon.
