Background - We are a couple in our late 40s with one teenage daughter. This was our 23rd cruise - 2nd with Princess, 14 on Celebrity, 3 on RCCL, 2 on HAL, 1 NCL & 1 Carnival. Our first cruise was in 1989 on Holland America's Nieuw Amsterdam.

A loose requirement for us going forward with cruising is that there should be at least one port on the itinerary that we have NOT visited before - hence the reason for picking this particular cruise on the Regal Princess. We had never been to Grand Turk or Princess Cays. The bonus was a new ship! We do love Celebrity's 'S' class ships along with their service and food so there is some bias going into this review. We were pleased with Princess when we did an Alaskan cruisetour in 2009, so decided to give them another try.

This was our 6th fundraiser cruise for our local Catholic school so we had a group of 26 ranging in age from 4 years to 74 years, compared to 50 people for the cruise to Alaska. We had a family of 4 that had never cruised before - they are now hooked! We did use a local travel agent since it was a group fundraiser.
