I had always wanted to do the cruise and as my wife thought her eyesight was deteriorating and wanted to see the Northern Lights before they did, we booked this trip as part of our Silver Wedding Anniversary.

As my first cruise I was extremely impressed with the size of the ship - friendly. the cabin was excellent with plenty of wardrobe space, a comfortable double bed, Television with both local and English, French, German speaking channels, On suite shower and toilet and more plugs than could possible need. Air conditioning and heat controls in room. Large window with no one walking past, Very quiet with no engine noise.

The Dining experience was fantastic - the food was excellent and the best I have had anywhere, great choice Breakfast consisted of buffet style continental, Fish, Breads, hot dishes, nuts, cereal, cold meats, cheese and juices etc, Lunch was a buffet with numerous hot and cold choices, Evening meal was a fixed menu with waiter service - different each day.
