Checking in and boarding the Glory was a breeze in Miami with FTTF. Met our cabin steward, Samidi, who took awesome care of us all week long, dropped off our carry on bags and headed to the Lido for a drink, relaxing in the sun and watching the ship fill up.

It was a nice start to the week to attend the Meet & Greet at the aft Lido bar. Met some really fun people! Special thanks to Dave for organizing a slot pull where the luckiest of us won $110 and a small trophy. We actually got ahead enough that we all could have gotten our $20 entry back (after paying the $110 prize) but we decided to let it ride. It was the best bang for a buck I've ever gotten in the casino, we cheered one another on for an hour until we were broke, but is was a blast.

We had anytime dining and there was nothing at all wrong with our waiter the first night BUT on the second night we were seated in Leilanie's section and she was absolutely amazing! We asked for her every night thereafter and Leilanie and her entire crew were the highlight of our cruise. I'm not much for the elegant night experience, we've often just passed and had dinner at the buffet but not wanting to miss Leilanie's service I sacked it up and complied with the dress code, so glad I did. Those elegant night dinners are extra special.
