We wanted to experience some sun to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. Have cruised many times with Princess before and were a bit disappointed with the Grand this time There appeared to be constant maintenance and upgrading. I have several headaches and bouts of nauseousness caused by the varnish and chemicals being used.

The crew were great, as expected. Loved all the trivia. There appeared to be a large appetite for it on this cruise. Up to 40 teams for various trivia and other events. Had never participated in an on-going trivia before. Lots of fun. Shows were good, but I had seen a lot of them before. At least there was enough seating for the events that I attended.

Food was very good but similar to a lot of our recent cruises. Nothing special. Would recommend visiting the Crown Grille if you are on a Princess cruise and treat yourself. Well worth it.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

Unfortunately, the chemicals used for cleaning the hallway and room next to us seeped into our room, causing us to be very nauseous. Had to have the balcony door open, in the rain, to get some fresh air. Otherwise, room was comfortable and nicely located.

Walked into town. Nice short visit. Was able to get some products made for my grandkids with the correct spelling of their names.

Beautiful scenery.
