We chose this cruise for the itinerary and the time of year. Also it was our first time with Oceania. Our cabin was an oversized Balcony Stateroom. Our balcony was twice the size of the others. Our stateroom was beautiful and the bed and linens devine. The bathroom was the biggest we have ever had at sea with a tub/shower combo and a stand up shower with a rain head. Really wonderful accommodations.
The food was the best at sea for us. We enjoyed all the specialty dining and the grand dining room. The buffet was OK but always crowded. The entertainment was OK. The bar staff did not listen well to our orders of martini's in Martini's young. We finally got our martini right the first time on our last night. Also we found the drinks to be outrageously expensive. The highest by two times of our other cruises.
Finally, we chose the O-life choice package which included air and paid for a hotel the night prior to our cruise. We were VERY dissatisfied with the air arrangements. Oceania presents itself as a high end experience but the air does not follow through. We had a red eye flight all night and arrived in the morning to our hotel which we could NOT check into until late afternoon. The bus just dropped us off and that was it. I would NEVER book air through the cruise line again. There were plenty of flights we could have taken to arrive there without not sleeping all night. Overall a good time was had but don't think the value is that great. Not sure if we will cruise Oceania again.
Stayed at Marriott Biscayne the night before our cruise. Good location.
This place is so new that most things were not up and running yet like the zip lines. Kids would probably love it.
Fun place to buy tourist junk
Beautiful water for snorkeling
Did not go far from the ship due to the crime.
