After trying multiple cruise lines I have now taken 7 cruises on Norwegian, this was my first on the Escape. As always, Norwegian seems a cut above most cruise lines. The service is always excellent and the stewards are amazing. We even got a hand written thank you at the end of the trip! For this cruise we selected a spa balcony mini suite. The bathroom was the largest one I have had on a ship and had some nice extras. The food was very good at all restaurants. There was never a lack of things to do to keep you busy. Choosing the option with the thermal spa is definitely worth it - a tranquil, relaxing oasis.

Drawbacks - since it's such a large ship it is harder to make new friends because it's more rare to run into the same people frequently. Some people may like this!

There were a lot of Chinese on the ship in preparation for Norwegian adding cruises in Asia. Unfortunately their English skills were not good and they could not answer basic questions, especially the restaurant hosts.

Cabin Review

Spa Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M9

Nicely updated cabin with a lot of space. Bathroom was large and the shower had mulitiple spa jets and a rainshower shower head. TV was larger than in the past. Large enough balcony. Good storage space. A nice touch was having a ubs charger as part of the lamp on each side of the bed. Great steward!

Port Reviews

Nassau

Went for a walk to paradise island and Atlantis.

Miami

Miami is a nice port to start and end at. If you have the time take a day to see the sights including Miami Beach.
