This was by far the worst experience I've had on a Norwegian Cruise!

It started at the port (Port Canaveral), we arrived at 11:30am as we selected the 11:30/12:00 arrival. When we arrived we were ushered to an escalator with a horde of people at the top, the guard was not allowing anyone to enter the check-in area and said the doors wouldn't open until 12:00. The staff at the bottom of the escalator continued to load people onto the escalator and caused a huge problem at the top, people were all squished and had nowhere to go, the escalator kept moving and people starting getting jammed into the group. Luckily nobody was hurt (to my knowledge). The bathrooms at the port were filthy!

I was horrified at the shower/toilet areas inside the stateroom. The toilet was covered by just a glass wall with absolutely no privacy. This led to embarrassing moments. The last thing I want to hear is my cabin mate defecating 7 feet away!

Cabin Review

Inside

Cabin IF

The cabin is the basic interior room. If you've stayed in an interior room before, you know what to expect. What makes the rooms on this ship stand out in a negative way is the lack of privacy for the bathroom. That would be, if there was actually a bathroom in the room... The staterooms do indeed have a toilet and shower, etc... however... the toilet is behind a slab of frosted glass that doesn't lead much to the imagination as you are able to hear/see through it. Unless you enjoy hearing the sounds of your cabin mate defecating, avoid this ship. The shower is the same problem - frosted glass partition... not ideal when you're cruising with your mother.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

The port is an absolute disaster area! Long lines, guards blocking entrances until their appointed times, and filthy restrooms!
