Pros Large ship with many things to do Clean rooms Variety of food options Cons Abi Beach Experience - dirty, small beach but awesome bar and staff. Orient Beach Experience - cleaner, nicer beach (picturesque Caribbean setting), good food but we only had one hour to eat, the sales people on the beach were absolutely obnoxious and we were late to arrive limiting our time on the beach. We were back on the boat by 1:30. Sales people on the ship are annoying. Its a business I get it but it's annoying and not needed if you do things right. The pay extra for this, buy more here, nickle and dime type of mentality on board grew tiresome. Then receiving gratuity envelopes and realizing half of the departure video is about giving more money tipped (no pun intended) us over the edge. We liked our cruise because who doesn't like a vacation, warm weather and being off the grid but we would think about other vacation options or go in to our next cruise with a lower expectations next time. Oh, one last thing - the departure process and specifically the Customs area is an absolute joke.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deck 9
Cabin was great. The beds were somewhat of a taco shape - time to change those mattresses. Loved having a balcony.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

  • Beach
Beach sales hagglers all the live long day.
Not enough time on the beach.
    Picturesque Caribbean beach.
Comfortable beach lounges with umbrella ($3).
1 hour time frame for lunch (food was good).
Late departure from the Pier and had to leave the beach at 12:45 to return to the ship.
    Somewhat worth the money.

  • Beach
The beach is definitely not the best beach - actually unfortunately it's the worst beach (sand, waves, etc) that I've been too. On the positive side the food was excellent and the beach bar & staff were great. If you just want the beach experience this is the place because the beach just doesn't have a lot offer.
