So I found great airfare from Boston to Houston so I decided on a cruise out of Galveston- this all seemed good in theory- until the logistics hit. There is no cheap way to get from Houston to Galveston- expect to spend 100.00 pp roundtrip just for that.

Boarding the ship- CHAOS. You do have porters all in the same collared shirt but many are very un-professional and the thought of just leaving your bag with them.... disturbing. Once you get inside to the lines after lines-security, then to check in- you better hope you know kind of where you are going because the people there to help you are not nice. Our "helper" looked at us like we had 3 heads and was very short when we couldn't understand where she was directing us.

Get checked in- you think the worse is behind you - until it's time to find your room. This is another area that needs huge improvement!!! Again CHAOS- people had no idea where to go. When it came time for the muster drill- this was the most in-efficient experience of a drill I have ever sat through! It was dreadful...painful even!
