I must start out by saying I was expecting the worst considering the many problems I had booking through the Australian office but the on-board experience put much of this out of my mind. That means I was expecting it to be bad which meant I was intending to be critical. I found the all round performance to be really good without being exceptional;. I did really enjoy the 6pm sitting in the main dining room and found it far better overall than the specialty restaurants. Service in all dining rooms is excellent and really stands out -- it would be difficult to complain. I found the bar staff to be not as inspired and sometimes surly and inefficient. The embarkation and disembarkation processes were painless and efficient. I did not really enjoy the shore excursions (except the Nha Trang river cruise) as they seemed a bit disjointed and bus travel to and from the attractions was way too long (a smaller ship like those with Azamara Club can get far better access). The internet packages offered on day 1 are not good value and they need to offer a better range (eg 250 hours etc). My stateroom attendant was outstanding -- basically invisible but highly efficient and helpful.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

Cabin basically ticked all the boxes. The only issue with the cabin was the reduced size of the balcony which also lacked privacy. The cabin attendant was exceptional. Plenty of storage, good bathroom (except there are no power outlets).
