Always been on HAL but the small ships. Thought we would try the new ship. Service everywhere was good, except for the tour desk. Food in the Lido, main dining room and the Pinnacle Grill was excellent, along with the service. Veranda state room was a little smaller than our previous ship's but very adequate with plenty of storage space. The glass enclosed shower a big improvement on the old bathtub. Our room stewards were very good and always had a warm greetingredients for us. All the entertainment venues were excellent, especially the World Stage showroom and BB King Blues Club. The Lincoln Center Stage classical group were very good also, but the area needs to be enclosed a little to block out the ambient noise. The 2 level Lido setup was really special, both during the day and for watching a movie in the evening. After such a good experience we will be back on the Koningsdam sometime soon.
