Ncl is lacking details such as having elevators only at the bow & stern sections of the ship. People were constantly complaining about the distance necessary to walk to/from the elevators. Other ships this size & smaller have 3-4 elevator sections - 1 at the bow, 1-2 in the mid-section & 1 at the stern.the interior decor is that of a cheap motel.the ship is designed to channel people, like cattle, into different areas so they could be 'up-sold' on items & experiences. Large activities should have been held in the theater. They were held in the small atrium blocking pedestrian walkways. Adults only area was tiny & had time limits for charging $99/wk. Kids activities were put in the center of the ship next to the adults only pool.
Steward never learned my name! The bartenders never learned my name (i was a regular). The casino personnel never learned my name (i was a regular).
Final invoices were delivered open to the public tucked into the room # plate. Some were on the floors exposing personal data!
Cabin is supposed to fit 3 people comfortable (i traveled alone). Had 1 small closet with a hanging rod that would not let a full length dress be hung, had to fold it over the hanger. Not enough room for other people's belongings. Not enough cabinets or outlets. Very narrow for a balcony room. Balcony was very shallow. Warning: you will not be notified when they are hosing the balconies from the outside..had water coming in on me while in my cabin! Even when i let housekeeping know this, they sent a bottle of basic wine & choco. Strawberries.. Yet still no notifications!! Other cruise lines are more considerate.
I walked to a small butterfly enclosure then back to the ship 1/2 hr total
