We have been on Regent before and expected to spend our 30th Wedding Anniversary and retirement celebration seeing Africa in style. Couldn't have been more disappointed!! Missed ports due to weather we were never warned about, rough seas, too many sea days, mediocre food, very expensive and too many rude staff members, made this the cruise from hell!

The cabins are nice, Prime 7 is good but you can't get in very often and as mentioned in other reviews, going to other restaurants can be overcrowded with slow service.

After our return we tried to get some compensation from the cruise line and they offered $500 per person on our next cruise! I was hoping they would do something to make me want to cruise with them again, but no such luck!
