we chose to cruise on the grandeur for the third time in 4 years. we like that it departs from baltimore and have chosen it repeatedly because of the staff. the embarkation process went smoothly, though disembarkation had some minor waits.

there was some disappointment with this cruise. the food in the main dining room was just ok, although the staff was stellar. and the shows were stale and we had seen them on previous cruises. the headliners were ok, but nothing to write home about.

most of what we liked centers around the staff and the cruise director. bobby kept us all laughing, especially for the 70's night! the parade of flags and the recognition of veterans on our last night was very special. the staff that we interacted with the most took the time to know our names and our preferences. i appreciated that johnnie had my cosmo waiting for me each evening! the line dancing was very lively for participants and spectators.

Large Interior Stateroom

Cabin L

this was the best of the three cabins we have had on royal caribbean. we splurged on the large interior stateroom not because it gave us more storage, but that it gave us some breathing space.
