Sail Date: Jan 2017
Cabin: Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony
slightly rusting balcony
hole in roof covered by sticker
hot rocks

We stayed in a balcony cabin and the room was nice but there were holes in the walls covered with stickers and the pillows were flat but as i read the recommendation from another cruiser i brought my own.

The food on board was quite nice and they have adapted to the australian audience to a degree with the foods they offer. I had several issues, 1 time i had bugs in a salad i was served and twice i was served food with onions that i am allergic to which was particularly upsetting as one of the reasons i have been so fond of royal is previously they have been extremely careful with my meals.

The facilities on board were very good, Flow rider was a lot of fun and the rock climbing wall was good.. the lines were quite long but seemed to move quite quickly. The shows on board were quite enjoyable and the headliners were mostly very strong performance but the ice skating show required cuing for tickets that was then canceled and then sessions were decided by muster station which worked perfectly.
