I have cruised almost exclusively with Royal and was disappointed with the Freedom of the Seas. Our trip was fun and relaxing and Royal never disappoints with their entertainment. Enjoyed Enzo and his team.

The Dreamworks breakfast features only two characters. On the Allure we visited with all the Characters and worth the extra money spent.

This was our first cruise where the "specialty dining waitstaff" walked around trying to sell the specialty dining. Begging for business seemed tacky. It was a bit frustrating to see waiters with promotion clipboards walking around the Windjammer up selling instead of cleaning tables. The wait staff in the Windjammer seemed clueless. If you were able to flag one down to clean off a table for you, they gave you an awkward look and seemed confused that wiping the table was also part of clean up. Sometimes you had to find some else to do that. I guess we were totally shocked at this was an everyday occurrence.

Cabin was good. Room attendant great. You now have to ask for robes and ice. Niceties are gone.
