Cabin: Mid-ship Balcony Stateroom

We chose this itinerary for places we have not visited (St. Thomas, Tortola, Nassau) and to experience cruising on a Mega Ship. Overall experience was very good. Most of the entertainment was outstanding. (Did NOT enjoy the "Brat Pack"). "After Midnight" was as good as any NY Broadway Show. Many dining choices. An excellent variety of entertainment options.

You will need to understand that there are many things that you would expect are complimentary but NCL is assessing a charge for.

We were concerned that with 4000+ passengers - would there be lines...generally crowded venues...difficulty in going where we wanted...no opportunity to relax.... not to worry.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Took a $10 cab ride to Atlantis. Not impressed - very dated as it was built & designed in the mid-1980's. For $300+ per night I would expect a lot better.

The area around the cruise terminal is jammed with t shirt stores, private tour operators and people selling just about everything. There is a tourist travel advisory in several parts of Nassau due to increased crime activity.

Tortola

Walked to downtown - short shopping trip. If we return I would take an island tour to see more of Tortola.
