In 2016 we had been on a Thomson cruise and felt we needed to try a bigger better ship. We thought the embarkation was quite chaotic, disembarking worked much better. Our cabin & bathroom were small but adequate. We were on deck 5 with no window but that did not bother us. Everywhere on the ship was LOUD, there were no quiet areas at all. Even in the library you could hear all the music/entertainment from the atrium. To hold a conversation was impossible.

Taste and Savor restaurants were organised chaos, they did not bother to ask people to share tables - a good way to meet people. The food in these two restaurants was mediocre. The Tropicana Restaurant was very good and the buffet was excellent. O'Sheehans was OK, but we had to wait 30/40 minutes for shepherds pie as it had to be defrosted and microwaved. All staff were more than helpful. Ladies, the public bathrooms only flush when you have departed the cubicle, I spent ages trying to work that one out.

This cruise seemed to be all about relieving you of your money. The drinks package did not include water and you could only get tea and coffee at the buffet unless you wanted to pay 3/4 dollars plus service each time.

The cabin was very good, ample room and storage, nice steward and lovely touches with the folded towels. Bathroom clean and shower excellent power and lots of hot water. Lovely comfortable bed. Free safe.
