First, just getting through security BEFORE getting on the ship was sadly very slow. Weather in Florida was cooler than expected and it was windy which made it feel much colder. Luckily a Norwegian employee saw the backlog of people and finally "got the ball rolling". If you are trying to get 4,000 people on board efficiently, let's get the system in gear.
NOTE: there is a port charge when you get an alcoholic beverage while still at port waiting to leave. FYI
Speaking of charges, there was a cabin service fee each day. I would have figured this would have already been included in the price. I don't like to be nickled and dimed for things that should be already included in the experience.
Had good storage for clothes. Interesting layout. Lighting was not the greatest. In fact, the best lighting was when the curtain to the balcony was open. Not sure what those on the inside experienced as there was not good lighting to be had to put on makeup and such.
Good sized shower. For a tall person, your feet will dangle off the end of the bed.
Did a little shopping here. On the cruise, there was a shopping seminar. It was good. Spoke about the fine jewelry like diamonds and Tanzanite from Diamonds International and Tanzanite International and good silver jewelry vendors. Be warned. Everyone wants you to come into their shops! They can be persuasive and pushy. Stand your ground and don't feel you need to buy from street vendors.
If you can find a chair to sit back and relax, you need to get there early and reserve. But beware.....whereas most folks know not to mess around with your stuff since you were there to reserve the chair, I had one person say their stuff was removed so someone could take the chair and move it where they wanted it. That's pretty rude.
I am not a beach person, so the chairs we found were in a pavillion and it was breezy and very relaxing.
Local village folks with commercial stuff like tee shirts and totes and hats, etc.
