Had our first Royal Family Suite and this time with the upgraded suite experience. First of all the room - 2 bedrooms, 2 bath with huge balcony and a hot tub on the balcony! We had our 3 adult children with us so it was perfect to spend time with family. We absolutely loved the entire suite experience including the Coastal Kitchen and the suite lounge. We never had to go to the Windjammer (my least favorite place on the ship in the past). This was heads and tails better than our previous suite experience on this ship before the last dry dock. We booked again for next year - same room in fact.

The 3 "kids" in their mid-twenties, loved the bar in the suite lounge open 11a-11p so we did not get the beverage packages.

Stayed at the Embassy Suites the night before the cruise and that was convienient but nothing special. Easy transportation to the ship in the morning. Embarkation was a bit off - we boarded after the suite guests had left to get on the ship and they made us wait in line (at the end of the line) - suite are supposed to board when they arrive. Concierge were able to corrct and were quite helpful. Nice to have someone to go to with concerns.
