This cruise was chosen as a short escape from the winter cold. It was a birthday gift for my sister in law and myself. It was her first ever cruise. While I enjoyed the cruise there were things that did not meet my expectations base on previous cruises. The Windjammer was the worst I have experienced. The food was cold the majority of the time. The drinks were watered down since they were poured by staff with ice which melted quickly you could not fill up your own drink at any time and there were times we went back to get water or iced tea to find the doors closed. It was difficult to find seating during peak hours. Even if a table had been left by the previous diners the table was not cleaned off and I had to hunt down a staff member to come clean the table.

I did not like the shows as much as other ships, it seemed to be music and dancing. It was hard to fit some of them in due to our dining time. The Ice dancing was our favorite.

Our cabin steward was wonderful. Our dining room waiter was super as well. The dining room service was very good and the quality of the food was good. We dined in Chops one night and that experience was wonderful as well.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Our Cabin was great, easy access to the elevator and not bothered by noise of the use. Our cabin steward Noel, was friendly and took great care of us. The beds were comfortable and we of course enjoyed sitting on the balcony with beautiful sunsets and sunrises.

Port Reviews

Miami

Check in went smoothly as we arrived by 11 am and were able to board the ship shortly after getting our sea pass.

Cozumel

We walked around the port area for shopping and had lunch at Margaritaville.
