We just returned from a 10 night Mexican Riviera cruise on Grand Princess and we were disappointed and occasionally even frustrated with the obviously diminished quality and service throughout!

There was a joke going the rounds about how Princess had successfully completed a new process to remove all flavor from the food. The meats were frequently dry or sinewy and we even sent them back on two occasions, which we just don't usually do. Service in the dining room was just 'okay', certainly nothing a step above. On three occasions I had to remind them I needed silverware or salt and pepper shakers, and one night the table linen had a hole I could put my finger through.

They repeatedly showed a video bragging about their recent drydock improvements, yet the ship showed wear, rust, even marginally functioning things.
