This was our second time on Sunshine so we were looking forward to boarding and getting settled. We booked very close to the cruise so we were not able to take advantage of FTTF as we usually do so we took our time getting to the port. We usually park at the port when going out of Port Canaveral but since we weren't in a hurry we took advantage of the stay, park and ride offered by the Radisson at the Port. Once the shuttle dropped us off at the port we proceeded through security which went pretty fast. Next was check-in and it went smoothly as well.

When we boarded it was already after 1:30 so we went straight to our cabin to drop off our bags. We were staying in cabin 7101, a 4J. We love them. We were excited to find that this cabin actually had a shower that ran the length of the bathroom. We were very pleased with our cabin and cabin steward, Johnny. He was terrific. We chose to have our cabin taken care of both morning and evening, no problem.

We had anytime dining which we always choose. The menu was American Table and America Feast. The food was good. There was only one night I wasn't able to eat but it had nothing to do with the food, it was the rough seas we were having. We ate in the Fahrenheit steakhouse for my birthday. The food was awesome as usual. The only entertainment we took part in was the casino. This was a premiere casino cruise (which neither of us was a part of). If we were able to find out before we book we woulnd't book during these. The people are great it just means the casino is SOOOO full. DH was able to find a slot machine to play on some and he actually played for 5 days on just $10 so he was thrilled. Read more
