The good points first. Constellation is a nice ship and well laid out. We were pleased with our outside cabin ,which was very light and spacious. Dining and entertainment were very good.
We chose this cruise because of the destination as we had never been to India before. We enjoyed the ports of call. I had prebooked our private tours before leaving the UK as they are so much cheaper than the ship.
Bad points. Celebrity are very money orientated and anything extra was very expensive. Some examples, $24 for one hour internet. Approx £38 for the cheapest bottle of wine but you would need to be an alcoholic to have the drinks package at $39 per day. Laundry was also very costly. There was hardly any Port information and no shuttle buses were provided, almost scaring passengers into using the ships tours. (There were a lot of complaints of them not being value for money) The smoking area is on the main deck by the pool and partially under cover, therefore subjecting non smokers to inhale the wafting smell. Immigration process in India was badly handled, causing long delays in getting off the ship, this was partially due to passengers not sticking to the number calling but celebrity did nothing to stop them. There is a happy hour in one of the bars but it was never advertised, we found out from another passenger. There are many free perks if you have travelled with Celebrity before but new passengers have to pay the price. We will not be using again
Good size cabin,
