Recently returned from the June 27th Brilliance of the Seas (RCCL) sailing departing from Barcelona. The family had a great time. Hope to write a more detailed review in the next couple of weeks. The weather was great and we had very calm seas except for the last day at sea.We spent time pre-cruise in Paris and Barcelona and post-cruise in Barcelona and Paris. We were gone a total of 25 days. It was a trip of a lifetime. The group consisted of myself, my wife our youngest daughter (nine years old), and my parents. We left the states on Sunday, June 21st and arrived in Paris on Monday, June 22nd.  We spent three nighs in Paris.  staying at a Holiday Inn in Montparnasse.  On Thursday, June 25th we took an overnight train (Elipsos Trenhotel) from Paris to Barcelona arriving on Friday, June 26th.  In Barcelona we stayed at the Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona.  We boarded the Brilliance of the Seas on Saturday, June 27th.  The embarkation process was painless.  The ship was in great shape and the ports of call were all very different and unique. We used a combination of a ship tour, private tours and tours on our own. Each had it's own pros and cons. This was our second european cruise. We enjoyed this trip just as much as the first one.We arrived back in Barcelona on Thursday, July 9th.  We stayed in Barcelona for two additional nights also at the Hilton Diagonal Mar before flying back to Paris on Vueling Airlines.Back in Paris for one night, we stayed at the Hyatt Charles de Gaulle before heading back to the states on Sunday, June 12th.  chester

Cabin Review

Cabin OBC

We had two cabins:  9060 outside baclony cabin on deck nine mid-ship and 9561 category L inside stateroom deck nine.  We felt very little movement of the ship.  Great view from the balcony.
