We chose this cruise because it fit in with our trip to Galveston. I suppose that if I had never been on other cruises I wouldn't know how bad it was. The food at the buffet wasn't good and I couldn't believe that they weren't pushing the hand sanitation like other ships. As a matter of fact sometimes you had to go out of your way to find the hand sanitizer. The food at the main dining room was ok and the service was good. Staff were nice and fun.

There was only entertainment 2 of the 7 nights in the theatre and it was kind of a high school musical thing. Better than nothing which is what we got the rest of the days. The young couple (2 Bad Apples)who played and sang in the casino and lounge were good and we enjoyed listening to them.

I slipped on a wet floor by the hot tub and sprained my foot. They had grip stuff on some of the floor but not where I stepped. I didn't make a big deal of it at all. When I went to the medical unit to request an ice pack they gave me a ziploc bag and told me to get ice from room service. So I ended up paying room service fees and tipping for ice that on any other ship would've been in my room twice a day anyways. Not too thrilled with that.

Cabin was clean and roomy. Bed was not comfortable.
